road trip (part 1)

we started off during good weather conditions in stockholm, driving south.

our first stop was växjö where our travel mascot bulbasaur was greeted by my dad's buddha statue.

after a short walk in town, we continuted south ...

... past Skåne and over the expensive Öresund Bridge.

after a short stroll around Copenhagen ...

... we reached Germany and the famous Autobahn where there sometimes is no speed limit.

The weather was no longer clear, and it looked like the forest was on fire.

The next day, the sun came back to us and we drove through numerous of small, german villages.

Sometimes, life on the road was not so glamorous ...

... while other moments you found yourself at a nice motel or hotel.

this is where i spent my 32nd birthday.

we said goodbye to the goats and continued our journey.

we had finally reached the border to Switzerland.

at first, it was flat...

but then, that was the end of that ...

this place was really beautiful ... but really expensive.

we were surrounded by nature ...

driving on serpentine roads ...

... when we finally found a camping place.

unfortunately, a storm was coming ...

... and our tent didn't survive the night..

( to be continued in part 2 ... )
